Sea buckthorn Grog

Sea buckthorn Grog

Fragrant grog with sea buckthorn, honey and cinnamon will give you warmth in cold weather and will warm you well if you are cold after a walk.

Ingredients:

220 ml dark rum
160 g sea buckthorn berries
100 ml strongly brewed green tea
1 cinnamon stick
100 g of flower honey
lemon or orange for serving

Instruction:

1. Crush or grind sea buckthorn in a blender.

2. Boil 800 ml of water with green tea, put sea buckthorn in this mixture, pour into a thermos and let it brew for 24 hours.

3. Strain the sea buckthorn broth, combine it with rum and cinnamon. Heat over low heat until the first bubbles appear. Remove from heat, stir in honey.

4. Pour grog into glasses, garnish with a slice of lemon or orange. When it cools, the drink may stratify and oil will come out of it. It’s okay – stir and drink.
